Me and my one buddy Scott always take at least one daytrip every summer and we are always looking for different ideas for places to go. We were going to go to a waterpark but decided to try something different this year and hit some museums down by Washington D. C.. When I first suggested it he joked with me about, "****, you can tell we are getting old when a fun day sounds like a museum." But he came up with the idea of going to the Air and Space Museum (udvarhazy):

It was really one of the best daytrips we have had. I'm not really into aviation but it was so neat to look at all these aircraft throughout history. I thought I would just share some of the pics for anyone who finds this stuff interesting. Admission was free, but parking was $12. Pretty cheap for a nice day away from work.
