New to working out need help understanding..

I'm am a 36 year old male 5'10 240 ..I have been working out off and on very sparingly( lol) through out. I have been working out for 2-3 weeks..I was using this liquid creatine and ran out .So I went to this new supplement store ..looking for the closet thing to steroids that isn't. A natural Type thing.

The guy behind the counter showed me hemobolin 250 and hemogen b52 ( i think). he said I would gain at least 8 to 10 lbs of muscle in 30 days..and that exactly what I needed.

So I come on this site and start to research ..and have been left confused. I have the hemobolin 250 but it is un opened..and i might return it it after reading the things i have read...I need to ask question for clarity..this is not my field and I am lost..so who ever answers take in consideration your knowledge and understanding is greater than mine and I would loike the laymen terms if possible..thank you.

    1. Are both of these a real steroid? Or just a natural booster?

    a. I thought steroids were against the law..how could the be sold over the counter?

    2. Serm PCT ..liver support ...???? Will this ( hemobolin and hemogen) destroy my liver and give me woman"s breast? ..

    3. Are there natural """" (.........whatever"s testosterone boosters) that I could take and that would give me 8 to 10 pounds of muscle in 30 days..is so which ones.

    4. Could someone post the perfect diet for building muscle mass ..I will follow to the tee..I need it spelled out..I truly don't know how to put it all together.

I'm like one of the other guys that posted ..I just wanted to do it once get the initial effect ) muscle ) and then just continue regular ..it's just what I need so I can continue and not get frustrated with not seeing nothing forever
Maybe it ages or laziness ..whatever this is the route that is best for me ..Build mass fast then jst doing the rest normail ..or regular ..

What should I do .? The best way to gain 8 to 10 lbs of muscle mass in 30 day without using a steroid..???

    Thank you

Thats just it. You need to do research before you put something into the body. Especially things you don't undersatand

    a. I thought steroids were against the law..how could the be sold over the counter?

You just answered your own question.

NO, 5 punds in a year naturally is even hard to do

    4. Could someone post the perfect diet for building muscle mass ..I will follow to the tee..I need it spelled out..I truly don't know how to put it all together.

can't do it without knowing more information, sorry

I'm like one of the other guys that posted ..I just wanted to do it once get the initial effect ) muscle ) and then just continue regular ..it's just what I need so I can continue and not get frustrated with not seeing nothing forever
Maybe it ages or laziness ..whatever this is the route that is best for me ..Build mass fast then jst doing the rest normail ..or regular ..

hmmm NO point in even starting if you ask me.

What should I do .? The best way to gain 8 to 10 lbs of muscle mass in 30 day without using a steroid..???

    Not gonna happen, sorry again.

    Thank you

There is nothing perfect or easy or quick about adding muscle to your body. If you were to go back through the archives of the 35 and over forum you will notice that we have made life style changes regarding exercise and eating habits. In other words, it's for life. If it was as easy as purchasing supplements and lifting weights for a month, everyone would be extremely muscular with low body fat. Not going to happen. Look to the extreme. Look at the professional bodybuilders who do use steroids. I think Dorian Yates at 8 years, was the fastest rising pro ever..it usually takes 10-12 years before the pros look like they do. That has to tell you something. So you can stick around and learn how to properly lift weights, develop a healthy diet and share information and experiences, or you can dream about it. The hard work is good for you and the discipline required to make it happen spills over to your life outside the gym. It's a wonderful life style. It isn't easy, but neither is growing old. You choose.

2.i have used body fortress, saw good results not any different than the "on" im taking now. make sure you do a shake right after working out. isolate is considered better than concentrate.

i dont agree, my belief is gain muscle to loose fat. i started lifting heavy, and eating was loosing 2 lbs a week for 16 weeks. now at 19% bf and starting to gain muscle weight back. so anything that helps build muscle will help loose fat, imo

Take it from a guy thats put himself on the "good" road for life.
After having taken a break from the gym for a decade, i returned with a daunting task..........lose 160 lbs. With over 100 lbs lost so far i offer the following:

I've got only a couple of pointers for you that I suggest you consider.

    1) There are NO shortcuts , work in = results, no magic pill invented yet.
    2) If you are not comfortable changing habits and lifestyle, your gains and or losses will be short-lived.
    3) If you are just beginning you are fortunate enough to be in that honeymoon period where you will add muscle and lose fat.

And one last parting word, if it took you years to build the physique you have now, what makes you think that you can reverse it in a month or 2.

imho, take the long road or don't bother
The older I get, the better I was

If that pic is real I think taking short cuts is the last thing you should be doing. By that I mean thinking that supplements or steroids are going to do the work for you. Doesn't happen.

Sorry, but you need to fix that distended abdominal wall (doesn't look like just fat) before it's too late to repair. Without a solid core and joint integrity ( I'm betting you have lardosis of the lower back), you're in for a lot of pain and potential injury if you're not careful.

    Lose weight.
Exercise for stabilization, mobility and strength (muscle building will come with time).
    Get nutrition in order.

    Training should consist of:

    mobility, movement efficiency, and strength

For strength purposes 3 times per week get in the gym and focus on exercises such as:

bodyweight squats, lunge, stepups, supine row, partner assisted or gravitron pullups, partner assisted or gravitron dips, wall sits, plank, glute bridges, overhead broomstick squats etc.plus light form work on squat and deadlift.

Just pick 4-8 bodyweight type movements for 2-4 sets each, use the bodyweight and go after it. It's difficult to overtrain when using bodyweight as resistance.

    Good luck.

Alot of newer weightlifters think they need to build mass (like you were told) etc etc.

Or...that they need to "bulk up" and start eating a crazy diet of Big Macs and **** because they think that lifting weights = green light to high calories as if there is a direct pipeline from their stomach to their muscles.

You need to fix your diet. It' s not hard you just have to WANT to.

Lots of raw fruit, vegetables, lean meats like fish, chicken breast, tuna, etc. Plain oats for breakfast, lots of water...keep your calories between 1500 and 2000 a day for a while (and keep track, don't just guess).

Nutrition is 90% of weight loss and 90% of muscle gain...your exercise regimen and training, while very important, is to stimulate muscle growth and improve your conditioning. While it definitely burnings calories, your nutrition is what makes your training effective or useless. One bigmac can negate a day's worth of exercise.
