Damn that sucks.
Same thing happened to my first electric guitar when I was 11 or 12.
It broke like the second day I had it.
**** sucked.

How did this occur?
I have a crack on the headstock of my Kelly from head banging without having my fret hand under the neck.
Strap took a **** and so did the headstock
Straplocks FTW

somebody decided it would be a good idea to move my stand and in the process the stand fell over with the guitar face first. anybody who owns a gibson knows that if the guitar falls face first that the headstock is gone.

Who is this somebody and why in the **** haven't you murdered them yet?
You should beat the **** out of them and then tell them that they are going to pay for your repairs and that every time you see them you are going to slap the **** out of the back of the head without warning until they start giving you payments or some ****.
An ass beating is usually never enough.
BTW, DOTA rocks .

Yes, 9 times out of 10 that will happen. Also, that is one of the week points of Gibsons. Post a pic to see how clean the break is, if you are lucky it is an easy fix.

That really really sucks. I've owned a few Les Pauls and a few SG's. This is not good.

Pictures speak louder than words!
If you can post a pic I can tell you if it can be repaired.
Here is a link to the site I mod at.
http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.php?
Just look for my id, same like here. And a pic 2 of the guitars that I have made.
