no pics but my arms were just under 12 when I started working out. Honestly, I'm quite a bit shorter and have a better shape, but the point remains, your not alone.

hey, you're not alone. i went from single arm dumbbell curling of 25 pounds up to 40 pounds. get this, my strength in it increased, right? but my arm...well, it did not grow! I **** you not. Either that or I am just horrible with the 'tape' ruler. :-)
Anyways, my bis when flexed are nice, but my arms...well, are just tiny! But I'm going to try a new routine soon after reading more on bb.com's forums about people and their various routines. My routine has gotten me to where I need to begin doing a clean bulk and....hopefully an additional 20 pounds :-)
w0ot! good luck with them arms!

Your tricep makes up 2/3 of your arm...hit your trys harder and your arms should get bigger

Keep training them hard and do not get discouraged. It takes years of dedication to see the real results! Def would try to focus more on your triceps than so much on your biceps.

Arms aren't an area that grows too quickly on ALOT of people. Just make sure your working those tri's just as hard or even more than your biceps.

Yes, you're skinny. I'm two inches shorter than you and 10lbs heavier than you and I'm by no means big. My arms are around 15.5" though.
How long have you been lifting?

Think about it. when your dressed casual in jeans and a t-shirt whats the one thing ppl can see. Your Arms! plus ive never seen a guy who has a huge chest and small arms. If you want ppl to know you bust your arse in the gym you need huge forearms and guns. Only other way is to walk around and brag about your 300lb bench, or 400lb deadlift.

Mine are 10.5 but then again im 14 and 102 lbs. BTW your 55(not saying it in a bad way) cuz up until 50 years old you lose 4% muscle mass each year.
After 50 you lose 10% muscle mass each year. So dont feel bad.
Also at 55 your test has dropped tremendously, probably dont have much anymore therefor it is hard for you to gain muscle.
I heard that ZMA works well for guys over 40 because it helps the body make testosterone. But it only works for people who have declining testosterone. Thats why it doesnt improve anything in younger people as they already have enough test

are you stupid? using that math you would be down to the bone pretty well by the time you are 58 and by 60 wouldn't be able to stand.

Yeah duh... because youre not eating enough
If you are lean, or semi-lean, and feel you want to get bigger... eat more

Absolutely, this has been advised on the forum. I'm eating much better now that I'm eating things I enjoy....

To Raidah13 -- with the tris making up 2/3rd your arm, thanks for that. Had no idea. Guess I won't feel so bad since the tris are coming in big.

I really don't care about bicpes that much I do my lifts for them but I don't want them to be massive. I'm 6'3" 265lbs and have bicpes that are 16' not big at all.

i seen a 73 year old deadlift over 300 pounds a few weeks ago. He used to be a champion pl in the 70,s. Can still do weighted chins. Lots of 50 plus in my gym could out lift alot of guys on this sight but most of them were powerlifters in there youth. If you keep training later in life you will hold on to more muscle than non trainers.

yea dude you are WAAAY off. Just because you are over 50 doesn't mean you have to lose any muscle, and you can gain muscle after 50. If you are sedentary and don't eat right you probably will lose muscle, but slowly, not 10% per year.
BTW, you're 14 and you've been on these boards for 3 months, maybe you should do a little more lurking and a little less typing because you obviously don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

After the age of 30-40 things go downhill fast for the majority of men, it's nothing that can't be very very easily corrected with HRT.
at 55 it's going to be a whole different ball game.. an ecto like yourself likely can't eat huge amounts because fat overspill from hormone deficiency will just make you skinny fat, you can't train as intensely because gh deficiency won't let you recover as quickly and it's way easier to hurt yourself and those injuries likely won't heal properly. Again, all very correctable with HRT

Don't feel bad man. I have 13's but my chest and legs are kinda big so it makes me look like i have a big body with tiny arms....i hate it. It also seems like my chest and legs only want to grow but my arms never do...oh well. Your only 1 inch smaller than mine but at least you dont got this big chest to go with your small arms.....just feels funny. Oh and by the way, for 55 you look great.
