Post your motivational quotes!
So I've taken to putting quotes on my fridge and microwave to motivate me and remind me of my goals when I'm about to blow it. I thought it might be cool to hear some that motivate others, plus I need some new ones! It can be a famous quote or just something you've heard or said here on bb.com (remember to give credit if it isn't yours!)
Here's what I have up now:
"Motivation gets you started - habit keeps you going"
(no idea where I heard that, but when I'm thinking about skipping the gym, this gets me there)
"It'll take you 1 hr of a tough, intense, crying workout to even come close to killing the damage your mouth did in 2 minutes." - (MVP on bb.com on blowing your workout by overeating). Thanks MVP, this has kept the cookies out of my mouth more than once.

There was a great quote that we used in high school as a motivator for our gymnastics team . . .
"What dreams cost in courage, they give back in glory."
Always liked that one. Can't remember exactly where we got it from--I think it was a poster that someone found related to the 1984 olympics.
EDITED: got the last word wrong originally (it's "glory" not "honor" . . . hey, it's been 20+ years )

My sig is the most motivational quote I've ever heard or read.
Another one of my favorites is a halftime speech Vince Lombardi (I think it was Vince Lombardi.) gave his team when they were losing by a wide margin. I don't remember the particulars of the game, but I remember every word of the motivational speech he gave his team.
He walked in and very calmly looked around and said, "Hello, ladies."
Then he turned around and walked out.
The last of my favorites is from my days in the army, "Train as you fight. Fight as you train."

The Man In The Arena
This is one of my favorite inspirational passages/quotes. Its an excerpt from a speech given by President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt at the Sorboone in Paris on April 23, 1910. History now refers to it as "The Man In The Arena".
