Gaining some pounds
The football season just started, and I am playing middle linebacker. The coaches said i still need to be a bit bigger to play the position. On the off-season i'm planning to gain 30-40 more pounds ( I mostly want muscle). Is there any supplement out there that will help me do that? I have from November to August to complete that goal.

You prob will not be able to gain 30-40 pounds of muscle in that time. There is no miracle supplement for gains. The best thing you can do to gain weight and muscle is to lift hard and eat food. The two supps that with help with this are Whey for PWO shake and Casein before bed. Both are protein supps...

Unless you plan on growing vertically too then maybe you should work on your speed instead and make a move to corner.. I guarantee you aren't going to put on a decent amount of muscle during the season, nobody every stays consistent over Christmas break, once summer practices start it's difficult to put on weight as well, so in reality you only have January to May to put on a solid 30-40 pounds of muscle... Most likely not going to happen. You can also try working on your speed as well as gaining 15-25 pounds and go out for RB which would be a perfect fit since you're trying to play Mike so you probably like contact.

ok dude u dont need to start just eating. im gessin that u hav ben eatin between 3000-4000 calories rite. ok if u start just eatin loads more food than wut yer bodys used to than it is not goin to no how to use the calories for mass and musle and it is goin to b stored as u gessed it(FAT) think of it as yer bodys gotten used to that amount so uve got to ajust yer body to higher amounts. I recomend u rite down the amount of calories u take n at each meal then take it a week at a time. each week u r goin to add 50 calories to each meal sayin that u eat six meals thats 50x6=300 extra calories than each week yer goin to add another fifty calories which wood than make 600 and then 900 and so on keep increasin until u find a certain number that u gain weight at a reasonable rate at and keep eatin that amount. once yer body start ajustin to that amount yer gonna need to increase again until u start to c a gain and keep this goin until u reach yer goal. this will keep yer body frum storin so much fat. you mite also want to take 2-4 weeks to cut sum fat such as uppin the cardio a little bit. than get bak to the high calories. u probably wont c any gains for the first cuple weeks but once u get to the higher calories u'll c sum slower mass gains. remember to use the mirror not just the scale!!!!

Dont even worry about fat, itll all come off during the s eason anyway, just eat AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, of mostly good and some bad foods, and stick with heavy compound lifts, this will put some decent weight on you while skyrocketing your strength! id say high school football is more about strength then size, i had some little guys on my team tha were strong as **** and peopel didnt know what to do against them.
