DNC: Mint Doesn't Levitate; Protester Shouts Down Journalist

"Mark Cohen, co-founder of ReCreate 68, along with other protesters, attempts to levitate the Denver Mint on Monday. Cohen is from Denver. Lourie ZipfAnti-war protesters put a cap on their second day of rallies and marches during the Democratic National Convention Monday with a decidedly unconventional stop outside the Denver Mint. The event, which was organized by umbrella protest group Recreate 68, drew a small crowd of about 50 people armed with "magic mojo" they hoped would enable them to levitate the Mint building to shake out its loose change using nothing but the collective power of their minds.
Turns out, it was just wishful thinking. But of course, the main purpose of the event wasn't so much for the sake of raising a building off the ground as it was raising awareness, a point that wasn't lost on at least some of those who attended.
Angela Molinar said that she was at the protest because she thought that the distribution of wealth in America was a hugely important issue. LeAnne Harden agreed and added that she likes that the protest centers around "using our personal energies." When asked if he thought the crowd would actually be able to levitate the Mint, protester Jeff Burk answered "with any luck."
Recreate 68 gathered the group on the outskirts of the Mint facing a cordon of riot police. Group co-founder Mark Cohen, wearing a red velvet wizard costume, began a chant of "Peace, Love and Justice," interspersed with cries of "Peace, shalom." A man calling himself the Yippie Pie Man, who has attended every Recreate 68 protest so far, used a megaphone to lead the crowd in the chants and also to appeal to bystanders.
"Don't be a spectator," he implored, "join the spectacle!" For those more interested in a concrete reason to try raising the Mint and liberating it of its change, others in the group were happy to provide a few.
"We need to free the $50 million (inside the Mint) for the people who are starving, we need this money, we need to distribute this wealth," shouted Kenneth Sanchez, who stood at the front of the protest group, wearing a red bandanna around his face. Recreate 68 even threw plastic quarters into the crowd, perhaps hoping to preempt the real money that they soon hoped would be covering the block.
"Take money from the war, give it back to the poor," shouted the crowd, joining hands to form a small half circle that spilled out into the street. After the dust-up around Malkin, who could be overheard asking Jones to "just go away," had dispersed, many of the protesters returned to Civic Center Park.
Throughout it all, the Mint remained firmly anchored to terra firma."
In the background you can hear an agent provocateur chanting "kill Malkin" to try to set Alex Jones up for false arrest. The COINTELPRO agents are the guy with the green shirt and funny hat and the guy with the camo hat.
I'm all for re-investigating 9/11 - and there are plenty of FACTS which show the government did not answer a plethora of questions, ommitted facts, or flat-out lied on certain issues - but approach any situation in this matter will not help.
I respect Alex Jones for bringing these issues to light, but he allows emotion to overpower the true meaning of what he's trying to get off, and is easily marginalized and rabbit-holed into a 'crazy, whack-nut conspiracy theorist'.

i know you're not perfect alex, but yelling at a woman makes everyone see you in a bad light
instead of yelling, just increase your volume and speak in a loud strong voice. that doesnt sound like yelling but its loud enough to be heard over everyone

They skew the news "our way" just as much as the main stream media does.
I am more involved in all of this then you know. I respect what Alex has done, but if he want there to be progress with this movement and see real change, he is going to have to be more professional in what he does. Since 9/11, he's been using the same tactics and seven years later, we're still square foot stuck in a plethora of questions.
When will there be a realization that our strategy has to change if we want to get accountability and truth?

No one would believe that anything was 100% true even if there were a news source that WAS 100% true, so that right there is a moot point on that basis alone. So he's the only one who has the facts, he's the only "leader? Decentralization is required for survival (kind of like the Internet). Everyone must become independent and their own leader on this in whatever ways they can. Alex doesn't want you "getting marching orders" from him. You know what getting accountability and truth means? the only problem i have with alex is the way he speaks, its like hes yelling, he comes off as an idiot some of the time, also loud and obnoxious. He needs to change the way he carries himself in public, the way he acts now makes people think he is just crazy.

The fact that Alex Jones is alive is proof that he is full of you-know-what. Sure some of his *sentiments* may be accruate toward things, but this grand hypothesis of Jewish Councils, Freemasons, Rosicrusians, Illuminati, wealthy world leaders worshiping the owl-god, Moloch, at Bohemian Grove(a getaway camp in North California where a bunch of rich people meet) are not based on reality, but mostly unproven conspiracy theories. Obviously they are people in control, but they are hidden in plain site. Most of the government wants more power & anyone willing to assist them gets some support.
The problem is he thinks certain groups are so powerful and then he states their goals, but when the stated goals fail massively and get completely replaced by some new political philosophy, he thinks its some other different face of the same monolithic entity. Why didn't Bush pull a coup? Why didn't he take power for a 3rd term, 4th term etc and declare the country a Christian Democracy for Spreading Neoconservatism or whatever they had thought before. It's because Bush wasn't as powerful as everyone thought & he voluntarily stepped down like everyone else, except everyone's favorite Constitution trampling, Supreme Court Packing, Gold-confiscating, Keynesian economics-believing, American Japanese in concentration camp arranging, Liberal Demigod, FDR...who Obama has strived to emulate, to the horrible detriment of the USA.
Michelle Malkin is awesome & she is also hot. I would have no problem with getting on my knees and eating her out for free, just because she pisses off people that she is a minority woman(well even though Asian's are a smaller minority than Latino or Blacks, they don't count because they've done to successful & don't have groups like La Raza and NAACP) who is not a leftwing nutjob.
