I dont like the snow in the winter when I have to make my way downtown for work and it takes 2 hours when it normally takes 25 mins........biggest waste of time ever.

I never said Canadians shouldn't learn another language. I just don't think it should be french. Maybe something more useful like Chinese.

I agree with you. Although I can't stand Mandarin, so I chose to learn Spanish as my 2nd language, which is a hell of a lot more useful than French since I plan to leave Canada after school.

If you want to work in Government or any kind of business that is cross-Canada. Most of eastern Ontario is officaly bilingual + every thing east.

The Toronto city console is to consider a motion to make Toronto officially bilingual next month, it's already got the numbers to pass. It's the future of Canada, almost everyone my age and younger is bilingual accrost Canada.

Only 7.5% outside of Quebec can speak french.

I was speaking in terms of working and living. Years of forced learning for just by the small chance you will visit an african country. lol
