Optimum 100% Whey Protein, Delicious Strawberry- what do you think?
i just ordered Optimum 100% Whey Protein, 10 Lbs., Delicious Strawberry, ive dont alot of research about it and everysite has is on its top list of protien and BB.com has it as its #1 in the top 50 and i was just wondering what you guys and girls thought about the product, how the flavor(even though im not going for taste, im going for quality). your comments are appreciated

It tastes decent at first, but then it gets worse and worse untill you wish it was gne.

It's okay but I got kind of tired of it too. I now use Kaizen Whey Protein which I heard from this store I go to actually is one of the better proteins out there. And it's at a good price. They explained to me that Kaizen whey went up against a very reputable company to see which protein was more pure and it came up that Kaizen was actually the better protein.
I now use it and love it. Don't think I'll be switching back to ON anytime soon.

I love ON but I bought 5 lbs of strawberry and after the first shake I got real sad........Im gonna up my protien intake to 2000 grams a day untill its all gone
no but really I wish I woulda got a diff flavor

i personally love the strawberry, try mixing it with some blueberries or cut up banana, even throw in a little low fat yogurt, been through a 2 lb container, working on a 5lb container right now and not getting tired of it at all

I think I'm going to try ON strawberry whey next. I just ordered a tub of cinnamon roll nitrocore and a tub of toffee dymatize whey instead though. I think with some fruit the strawberry would taste good. I didn't like my ON vanilla icecream by itself, but with a banana blended in its really good.

The strawberry is my favorite. I have been through several 10 lb bags of it and a couple of 5 lbers. I mix it with glacier freeze gatorade powder pwo.

quality is good apparently, not that anyone really knows besides the people that make it. But it tastes like **** IMO, worste protein flavour ive tried out of their range.

should have got a different flavor on days when u dont feel like taking the strawberry cuz the taste gets old VERY fast.
ive tried....double choc, extreme milk choc, choclate malt, not-so delishious strawberry, rocky road and currently taking cookies and cream.
my next purchase will be vanilla chai and the mocha cappuccino....does any one have any reviews on either of these?

extreme milk chocolate = full of win
edit: to post above, i got mocha cappuccino, and i dont really like it. its not too "coffee" tasting, but i take it with water because i cant have those extra calories of milk. most of the time i mix half a scoop of extreme milk chocolate with it so i can enjoy it

It tastes very similar to vomit, the absolute worst tasting protein mix. I threw mine away with only 1 serving used. I also threw out cookies and cream. The c&c I just didn't care for, the strawberry was just plain nasty.
But, many people like it, so you just might. I only use water with my protein so it's possible that it tastes much better in milk.

Wow count me in the minority, but it's my favorite flavor they make. I've tried 20 IIRC - the 18 sample pack and two special editions.
The best part about strawberry over other flavors that are chocolate based is the ease of use:
You just rinse the shaker or whatever you use, and you're done. Chocolate has a tendancy to leave a residue, and i can't immediatly rinse it to use again - it MUST be washed.

its probably my favorite of all ON 100% wheys ... right above choc mint. its one of the few flavors that i like in water or in milk. usually most flavors i only like mixed with milk.

This is why we have over 16 flavors because you just cant win them all  I am not a big strawberry fan myself but the Chocolate Malt is another story, delicious to say the least. Try our 16 flavor variety pack if you are ever curious about any of the flavors. Thanks again for all the comments.
