So I'm reading an article about fitness professionals who promote healthy lifestyles but engage in unhealthy and sometimes potentially dangerous behaviors. You know, eating disorders, maladaptive eating attitudes, obligatory exercise, smoking, drugs and other means to control their bf. There are many studies that show how even trainers with normal or below normal bf still have many of these issues or use the products - old news, I know.
The new-to-me item was a plastic surgery called ab-etching which is a "trade secret of fitness trainers". Has anyone, particularly trainers, had that done or know someone who has? Does it really look like a real six-pack? Does it last?
No, I'm not going to get it done. To me it's an integrity thing - I can't promote healthy eating, exercise, and stress reduction with an emphasis on finding your own unique beauty and then get plastic surgery to "improve" my own unique beauty. Breast implants are out, too, though in another 10 years I may change my mind on eye lifts.

But I don't hold it against someone who does go under the knife to get "perfected". We all have to make our own decisions. But, never having heard of this procedure, I am curious about it if anyone has any experience with it.
