6'4" 230-235...time to cut or keep bulking?
I haven't posted in a while but as you can see in these pics I'm a bit larger than I have been in the past. Not sure whether I should continue to clean bulk or cut it up. Weighing in at about 235 with roughly 10% BF. I'm 6'4" so my frame can probably take more without looking too puffy.
I'm coming close to my goal weight and size but my traps are still lagging behind. I've tried everything: 600lbs on the straight bar...275lbs straight for 40 reps....heavy dumbbells...you name, it no results. Very frustrating!
I've also incldued a pic of me in street clothes for those of you that doubt my height...which I get often on these boarsds. Dont be jealous of the pic...its a lambo gallardo supperleggera in the background. Spent that day driving the Supperleggera, 599 Fiorino GTB, Callaway C16, Ford GT, Masarati GranTurismo, and McClaren SLR...WHAT A DAY!!!
Opinions welcome.

I think it's time you lean out. In my opinion you look a little too big. I guess it's all a matter of preference.

You have great size. I would say its time to cut. Once your cut up, you will look even bigger.

I am assuming that the loads listed were used for shrugs?
Is that all you do for trap work?
You need to incorporate Power Cleans, Hanging cleans, Power snatches, Hanging snatches, Power shrugs, Trap 3 raises, low cable pull throughs , etc..
Impressive physique at your height . Looks like you are proportional & balanced.
If you can stay around 10% BF & still make gains I would say Go For It!

I'll be honest, my power movements are lacking in my typical routines. I need to get serious about incorporating them. Thanks for the advice.

Great size. I cant believe you only weight 230lb. I think you look way more at 6"4. How about recomping, your fairly lean by the looks of things. Only criticism is calves look a bit small compared to the rest of your physique, but I can imagine at your height its hard. Great job!

6'4" and 230 pffft LIGHTWEIGHT!! LOL! just kidding.
Rather than worrying about cutting if your diet isn't quite clean, just clean it up and the rest will take care of itself. Maybe increase cardio a bit. See what that does for you first before putting yourself through a full on cut. You are carrying alot of muscle and small changes may lead to big results for you.
BTW, great work so far.

^^^^^^^This. Just do a little cardio, eat cleaner if you aren't already and you will lose some bodyfat. It already looks like you are at 10-12% or lower.

Try cutting the rest time with traps to 25-35 seconds. Do high rep dumbell shrugs with a few drop sets at the end of your sets. I like to do 100 lb dumbells for 12 reps then drop down to the 50's and pump out as many as i can for the last set. Anyways, your lookin huge! i would say you could even go 10-15 pounds heavier then cut (i would do that if i was in your shoes ) . Cutting now would be good as well since you have plenty of mass.

the problem isnt that you dont work them hard enough or with the right exercises or weights. you just have a really wide frame that stretches your traps out and typically inserts them a bit lower on your neck. anyone your height even pro's just cant seem to get the same trap development of the shorter narrower guys. i guess it just the downside of being super tall and super wide.haha. im not saying they cant get bigger i just dont think they will ever be a standout part with your frame. but thats just a short fat guys opinion, take it for what its worth.

Why cut? He looks pretty lean already. If I were that big, I'd want to get even bigger.

im 6'4 and its always been VERY VERY easy for me to get up to 240-250+...

you sure your scale isn't broken? You look wayy bigger than 230.
I think the cut/bulk is really up to you. You're still pretty lean and if you wanted to could easily pack on more mass before 'needing' to cut, but at the same time I'm sure at your size you would still look AMAZING (no homo) if you went ahead and cut up now

First off, you're looking HUGE, buddy. Great to see you posting back on here again.
As far as bulk or cut, that's gotta be your decision. If you're still interested in modeling, they're probably going to ask you to stay cut.
If it were me - and I can't even imagine being as big as you - there is no way I'd cut if I had your potential.
Regardless, you look great, man. Excellent job.
