is 2 days of rest enough?

hey guys i got a question.

im currently doing a 5x5 routine and i was wondering if doing say bench for example to muscle failure and then doing bench again after a good 2 days of rest after my lifting day is ok. I dont want to overtrain.

Eat a lot, sleep a lot, and if you feel like you can work chest again after 2 days, do it.
i personally recover fast and i can work out chest to failure 3 X a week and make improvements every workout, so to answer your question, yes, you can work out after 2 days of rest.
    u mad?

5 sets in one day then 2 days later do it again? That's absolutely fine, but not very effective. Then again, we can't help you based off that information. List your full routine with your set/rep scheme.
