Question Wanting to gain lean mass...............

Hi Guys,
Back in 2001 I got into bodybuilding. Then, for 7 years I decided to do triathlons and running. I still lifted, but more for sports performace and protection from the long distances. Well, I've decided that I want to try my hand at a Figure show. It's the Northern KY in March.
Soooooo, I've been lifting heavier and eating pretty clean (I don't want to put on much fat), but if you all could look at my pics and tell me the best way to help my body get up to par, I'd really appreciate it! I've cut my cardio down to 30 min/5 days a week. Except for an occasional 90 min bike ride. I'm pryamiding my weights with a 3 on/1 off split. I'm taking protein powder twice a day and LAVA from Universal after my workouts. What else should/can I do? Thanks!!
Also, if any of you have done this competition. Can you tell me what to except?
Thanks,
Amy

If it were me I would take a good year to try to add some overall muscle. Get a good eating plan in check and hit the weights heavy 6-10 rep range.

Then once I picked my show (sometime in the fall) it's all about conditioning from there. Even in figure the girls are coming in quite lean. I would not do a March show, because then you're dieting through the holidays...

Good luck with your progress
