It's kind of cheap to write about this but I am literally in tears at my keyboard right now and this taught me a lot.
So tonight I was riding home from work and on me, I have; 20 dollars, iPod, phone, bike chain, keys with flash drive, and paycheck. None of this is exposed except the iPod which I am listening to.
So I'm riding down the street and this black male, age 15, shorter than me, stops me. He asked me for 50 cents. So I gave it to him and he gave me some candy. So I'm standing there about to ride off, he asks to use my phone. I tell him I have no phone or wallet. He asks me if I'm listening to an iPod, I say no although that was dumb because the music was on. So I ate his candy and he asked for a dollar. I tell him I have nothing and ride away. He follows right up beside me and tries to wall me into a car, so naturally I kick him. We exchange kicks on the bike and I don't know how I stayed up but I did, through the grace of God. Finally I hop off and go for my phone, he reaches but I back away. I get a hold of 911 as he is looking down the street and reaching in his pocket. He rides away as I yell to the operator to come to where I am. So the officer gets there and I'm literally shaking. I never thought something like this would happen to me. So the policeman drives me home and on the way, on the police receiver, I hear the exact same description I gave the officer of a boy who just mugged a 13 year old for a cell phone.
I never thought this would happen to me. He could have taken me for everything that is important to me. All of my information was [stupidly] on me, along with my iPod, a paycheck for 250 and my phone. Just a lesson for everyone to pick up; **** like this can happen to anyone, take it from me. Karma has nothing to do with it. You can be a ****ing pastor and this **** can still happen. Luckily, I got away with my life and my possessions and it taught me a valuable lesson. Now I'm still in shock and ****ing crying.
Cliffs;
-Almost got jumped while doing my cardio
-Had all of my important possessions on me when returning from work
-This **** can happen to anyone, I thought it couldn't happen to me
-Watch your back

Same thing almost happened to me before. Four guys came up asking for the time told them I didn't know (they were expecting me to pull out a cell phone) one went to reach in my pocket, I backed away and ended up running. They were stoned and didn't bother chasing me. This was after a school basketball game. Not as bad as your situation. But I was scared as hell.

I was just making conversation because I didn't know the kid. I was trying to see what was really going on here because nobody asks for like 4 things.
It just makes me value my life a little more and respect what I have. Yeah, I know I'm a pussy but I could have potentially been killed/extremely ****ed up.

Thats why I don't leave the house even to take out the garbage without this.
Only time I am away from it is when I fly. It goes in my checked luggage.
Lesson 2: don't talk to strangers that approach you for no reason. First thing you should have done when he approaced was to look behind you, then watch him carefully and do not let your eyes off him and try to sense anyone else approaching without loosing track of him.**************M*********

Well, first of all, never take candy from strangers, life is just not that kind anymore.
Oh and never give them money or anything at all, they don't deserve it. Just say no, don't talk to them and keep on riding if you can't defend yourself.Narrator: My suitcase was vibrating?
Airport Security Officer: Nine times out of ten it's an electric razor, but every once in a while..... it's a dildo. Of course it's company policy never to, imply ownership in the event of a dildo... always use the indefinite article a dildo, never your dildo.
Narrator: But I don't own...
[Officer waves Narrator off]

Are you surprised that a f#cking black person would try to rob you? If I see a spook after sundown I prepare to get my ass tried and I grip my gun. I don't see any of this to be racist, but every time anyone has tried to rob me, or fight, me, or start some ****, they have ALWAYS 100% of the time been black. And ALL of my black friends that have been "from the hood" always tell me how they "target pussy ass white boys". Don't say **** to me because I am literally speaking ONLY from experience.
