Poland's Syndrome
Hi guys, first time post.
I have Poland's Syndrome, which basically means I was born without a left pectoralis major. Does anyone have any ideas on how to work around this? Thanks.

My father has the same thing (not sure if it's the left or right side, but one of his pec majors is congentially missing). He just tries his best--he'll always be weaker doing upper-body compound push movements because of it, but you just do the best you can. Do bear in mind though that if you build the other pec, it's going to be more pronounced (he used to get self-conscious about that and intentionally limited what he did so that wouldn't happen).
My suggestion would be to focus on pec minor exercises (incline presses and flyes); the pec minor doesn't have nearly the growth potential of the pectoralis major, but even a little increase will help fill out around the clavicle.

Only my chest is affected. It's not something I even notice doing day-today activities. I just took the attached pic. Thanks for the replies!

Yep, pretty much exactly what my father has. Try my suggestion: work the pec minor by doing incline exercises and see if it helps even out at least the top portion, towards the collarbone.

I have Poland's Syndrome too. Missing pec major on right side. Don't even worry about it, just workout like normal. I can throw up 100 pound dumbbells and I just do whatever. Bench press, fly's... your minor will make up for a ton of it.
