I wouldn't tell my doc. Just ask for all the necessary tests and you should be fine.

You can walk into any hospital and get the blood work yourself, just ask for the results and don't have them faxed anywhere.

don't tell your doc. You sign a document when you get insurance that states the insurance company has access to ALL of your medical records. The doc can't tell the cops but he will tell (essentially) your insurance company. Once the insurance finds out they will drop you like a bad habit.

Even if he didnt tell his doc, the doc wants everything done, right?
So if he saw the crazy levels, wont the insurance drop him for roids anyway?
Curious now..

that all depends. Even if the doc sees the screwy levels he's only suspicious. Just don't tell him anything. He's not going to call your insurance and say "Hey, I'm pretty sure John Doe is on teh ROIDS!" I got tested and nothing came of it. I never told them anything except that I was a bodybuilder and I was taking normal supplements. Even though hormone levels will be odd, it's still not conclusive to the cause. Just don't go back for any more tests even if he asks you to.

why would insurance companies drop you? - if a guy says he smokes pot, drink alot of beer the doctor is there to help you get better...
I don't see why your insurance compay will drop you for taking testosterone
