oops i accidentally deleted the other thread so here's the info again. you don't need to spend 6 months getting these:
1. buy lifting hooks

2. practice a few minutes every day just hanging on each extended arm. spread the pressure around between your wrist and fingers.
start the hang slowly to reduce any spinning and use a thumb grip. start sideways if you have to.
3. do the hanging work every day for about a week til you feel ok. then, just start pulling!
4. if you're good, you can get the 1 arm pull ups in just 2 weeks. other guys will take longer.
5. stop using the hooks. game over!
