    Cool I ran into my friend at the gym today

    I ran into my freind at the gym today.
    He was squatting. When I started my bi/tris day he started making fun of me telling me I was wasting time and the best way to get big arms is to squat, deadlift, bench, and I guess just do all the compound movements? All I know is he looks like **** so I think I'll continue with my arms day...


    I'm glad I replaced leg day with bi/tris day.

    Well, you should prioritize those compound movements and if you still want to, work on arms.

    Gaining strength is never a bad thing.

    good idea. People who works legs are idiots...no one cares about them anyway. Big arms > big legs. Maybe drop dead lifts and do some curls instead.

    Compounds only do not make your arms grow right. You will gain some mass but they will look like sh*t, you will be better off having an arms/shoulders day or something like that.

    I think legs are important ifyou wanna compete in bodybuilding, which I do, cause then that will mean free gym membership. So I might aswell work out everything, as I'll only benefit from it. And also I know some pretty hot chicks who actually dig good legs. Not the insane looking Ronnie Coleman ones, lol, but they do like legs.

    Sorry bro, but I also beg to differ on this one.Ever since I switched to powerlifting, I almost never do iso work wfor arms, and they have grown an inch(in 8-10 weeks).

    Sibrek! I have knee bursitis and a pulled muscle in my hamstring... that means I can't squat or deadlift (or do any leg work without extreme pain) for the next month because I'm getting a corticosteroid shot in my knee tomorrow...

    My question is: Should I change my split to be
    Monday -> torso (chest and back)
    Tuesday -> arms
    Thursday -> torso
    Saturday -> shoulders

    -or-

    Monday -> Arms
    Tuesday -> Torso
    Thursday -> Arms
    Saturday -> Shoulders

    Your help would be appreciated Sibrek (Oofap too since you guys are soo cool).
