Trying this all again ... diet review pls

I'm 5'7, 175 pounds... I would like to get back to 145 pounds ala profile, so i'm doign no carbs. I hate to be one of these people, but I thought I would ask for diet opinions. (its not exactly the same every day but you get the idea

5:30 - protein + .5 tbsp flax oil
WORKOUT
Post- Workout: protein
8:00 - 6 egg whites
11:00 - 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese, 1/2 serving almonds
1:30 - turkey burger, 1 cup green beans, .5 tbsp flax oil
4:00 - 1/2 can tuna + .5 tbsp flax oil
6:30 - 1 egg, 2 egg whites, slice of cheese
8:30 - salmon burger
*9 fish oil caps
*1/2 serving of almonds sometime during the rest of teh day

so this works out to be:
Calores - 1537
fat - 77.5g (45%)
carbs - 26.1g (6.5%)
protein - 170g (45%)

I'm welcome to any suggestions. Thanks!

The Iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it's impossible to turn back.

your protein is too high for a traditional keto diet. The problem i see is that your body could try and use protein for energy instead of fat. Im guessing your going for 1 gram per body pound, from what ive experienced you really only need 1 gram per lbm. If your jsut doing low carb everything looks pretty good to me

too much protein...u need more fat. Shoot for 75/25 fat to protein for quickest results. The initial switch to 0 carbs might be tough, but u will get out of it and then feel great. Good luck!!

1st --- I just fell asleep at my desk. Getting back into no carbs after 4 days of stuff fest is exhausting.

So i thought about going totally keto and not just low carbs because the results seem good, but my problem is i have no idea how to get that much fat in with so little protein n and keep my calories low (1400-1600). i know there are lots of ways ... red meat, heavy cream, straight fat... but the calories seem so high on those foods, it ends up not being much food.

For example if I went 75/25 that would be 125g fat, 90g protein. two protein shakes in teh morning would be 40g protein, 6g fat. Ok that leaves teh rest of the day for 119g fat and 50 g of protein. If anyone can give me a realistic way to do taht, which doesn't leave butter as one of my meals, I'm willing to give it a shot.

Ditch the shakes...You don't need that crap. Its easy to get a good high fat to protein ratio. Bacon, ground beef, sausages eggs, oil! Oil is your friend! Get a program called Fitday and u can play around with foods u like and it will break it down for u really easily in percentages and macros and all the info u would ever need.

instead of eating egg whites you can eat whole eggs, instead of turkey go with beef, instead of tuna go with beef, maybe add cream somewhere. i would make sure tog et ur protein and then fill in fat.. if ur doing keto. this could leave you at 55/40/5 or something. thats fine
