the shirt looks great and im glad it has the grid stitch.. im thinking of going back to my plan of adding 5lbs a week to my 5 rep sets.. so its gonna be 410 for 5 reps and so on.. my first meet is gonna be nov 8th. at carl seekers " war of the sword" in warren pa...

i've definitely read about pl'ers setting aside specific training days for using bench shirts and squat suits, and not just for max attempts. i believe the idea is that you need to feel comfortable with all variables of a lift before making an attempt. if you're making an attempt with a bench shirt, you definitely don't want it to feel foreign or else you won't perform at your max.

Right on. Your a strong guy so youll probly be able to handle the wt it will take to get that thing down to your chest, sometime soon. Be sure to hit some extra grip work to keep your elbows together. If its tight like you say it might take 650 or so to touch.... Good luck bro.
