I agree wholeheartedly. I can say that, personally, when my bench was biggest (in every way... max strength, speed) I didn't pay much attention to my back. In fact, my back strength is as high as it's ever been, and my bench is currently about 40 pounds off of my PR.
In a raw bench, regardless of whether you arch a bit and tuck the elbows, I think chest involvement is underrated and lat involvement is overrated.

I'm going to have to say that though I agreed with this view for a long time, I now disagree. I recently massively increased my rowing strength which didn't make any difference for quite a while, then I learned to really work my lats into the movement and now I can feel a definitely powerful thrust for about 3 inches coming out of the bottom. I've learned to tense the lats when I'm getting close to the bottom, so then as the bar descends it's like loading a spring, so that when I finish the pause the bar almost jumps off my chest for the first few inches. I think it's mostly honing your technique to use them, it also makes my shoulders and upper back feel more stabilized and tight.

Pause benches and boards (depending where your sticking point is). I am a big believer in pause benches. Also heavy barbell inclines.
For back, padded T-bar rows are a great movement to help your bench.
For tris - close grip benches, JM presses and dumbbell floor presses and my favs.
Of course proper setup on the bench is key.
Just my 2 cents....Crom Laughs....

Yeah, gotta work on the arch, even a little bit. Make sure you set up on your traps and rear delts. I also bench on the balls of my feet and push down on my heels and it helps lock me in and stay tight and get a good drive from my legs. Heres how I'm setup, help give ya an idea :
