why you should always google people :)

if you ever hestitate to google somebody because you think it's kind of stalkerish, let me explain the benefits of the pre-date GOOGLE SEARCH.

i met this guy during a late-night fries run in hollywood. he is a good-looking former model, figured he'd be harmless, at worst your typical hollywood jerk. he asked me to go to an mtv premiere with him. i said no but gave him my #. anyways, next day he sent me a text saying he had a job opportunity for me and asked if i wanted to travel. RED FLAGGGGGGGGGGGG i mean i think i'm ok but i'm no MODEL...

so we added each other on facebook. he made the mistake of leaving up one of his comp cards that had his full name on it and i did some googling...

this guy has been complained about on every scam website on the internet and has even been sued for trespassing...

Obviously if you think about this, it is totally ridiculous and way too good to be true, but he is so aggressive and persuasive and not bad looking even, that I have rarely seen him walk away without the poor girl's number. At which point she's in for it, he will call and text her at all hours of the day and night, in the beginning with such things as, Where ru? Can u meet? Can u travel? Can u take a trip? Meet me now at (if in LA, places such as Coffee Bean, Beverly Center, The Standard pool, Robertson Blvd.) Speaking of Robertson, even all the girls that work at the boutiques there, Lisa Kline being one where they are particularly weary of him, are aware of his sketchy ways, and try to chase him out of their stores so he can't creep on them and/or their customers. Obviously something is wrong there.

lol what an experience. Everyone should use google for pretty much anything. Even before coming here to ask questions that can be answered by google. I can understang getting people opinions on issues and stuff, but alot of people post questions that would be just as easily/better answered in google. Sometimes I google people I know just to see if anything pops up. Nothing yet. Time will tell.

Just because he seems nice doesn't mean he can't be a freak. The real clever ones know how to use this card to their advantage.

I'm glad you googled and learnt your lesson but i think the other lesson to be learnt here is don't give your number out to complete strangers.

I googled my now husband when we first started talking. Ended up with a bunch of patents he has. I figured that would be the end of that when he realized I was really a ditzy blonde. I think that most people that wind up with a weirdo invited it to begin with, male models, men that are a little too concerned about their "fashion" and have too many feminine tendencies have problems to begin with.
