Exclamation full body workout vs. training a muscle group or two

I have been trying to do a full upper and full lower body split for a few months now and I dont know if its working. What I mean is on an upper day I hit every muscle group (chest,tri,shoulders..ect.) but only with like two exercises per muscle group. Would it be more beneficial to keep doing the full upper and lower split or switch back to working out like chest and tri one day and back and bi the next?

It sounds like you are ready to increase volume per part. Give it a shot and see how it works for you.

What's really really really sad, is that the answers are already right there.

For a HUGE majority of people...

start on a full body 3x per week, add body part volume while reducing body part frequency as you progress. It's that friggin simple. It isn't "1 bodypart every 2 weeks for 70 sets" OR "Soviet/Bulgarian each bp 10x per week using 1 exercise each". There are middle grounds.
