Could you at least have the courtesy to post a valid reason before you close threads?
This is regarding a recent thread (not mine) that got over 20 pages long and was closed for no apparent reason:

I haven't been in the thread, but just in general, it's not making this a better forum by closing things without explanation. No one learns what they did wrong. I just restart threads when no one tells me what the f*ck was wrong with the one I made. And if it's a problem with certain people in the thread, and not the actual thread, take it out on them, instead of ruining a discussion by dealing a blunt blow.

On many forums the mods post before they move or close a thread, it's common courtesy. If it was my thread I'd probably do the same and repost it.
Well, they still haven't replied.

As a member of this site I think it's ridiculous that TheDukeUSMC is even allowed to moderate the R/P section. He was more than likely the one who closed and or deleted the thread your talking about.
Obviously he has his own political agenda and is not comfortable with things being discussed that our contradictory to his beliefs.
Kind of lame if you ask me.

I think iKermit does the best job of moderating the R/P; I don't remember seeing a thread he closed that didn't obviously deserve to be closed. Haven't seen him in here lately though.
Then again, let's take a look at the ridiculous "rules" regarding discussion of religion.
