Surely it can't be that hard. I'll be over 1000 on the big three if I can manage 385 on deadlift next week. I can't see it taking more than a few solid months of training in the mile to hit in the 5 minute mark but maybe I'm way underestimation how hard a 5min. mile is. I've done high 6s before just dicking around after running for a few months but I was 35lbs lighter.....

Luckily, you don't need tons of muscle to do 1000 lifts..
I need to max out eventually, but I'm sure I'm at least high 900's, if not over 1000. I'm constantly around 155-160. (I will provide some fu cking videos, for the record)
Anyway- this is totally obtainable.. Lift hard, and for strength, not size; run whenever you are recovered and can manage it.

I get winded after like a minute of jogging or thirty seconds of sprinting, so I would walk for a bit. Then when I heard the coach yell out the ten minute mark (we had to get under 12:00 to get an A, and anything over that is an F, nothing inbetween), I would sprint as fast as I could (and I'm pretty ****ing fast, a lot of people have asked me if I'm on track) and just finish it. We did this like four times in one week and I almost died.
Horrible, horrible endurance.I rep back 1,000+.
o me so strong..

I always joke that I have the endurance of a chain-smoking 80 year old (srs). I need to start sprinting and/or doing a bit of cardio. I get cramps playing one on one basketball. I crushed a freshman kid at this party the other day, I had to take a time out in the middle of it because I was panting. I was like "Damn, I'm in horrible shape" and I had my shirt off. He said "Yeah, you look like it."
Still can't figure out if he was being sarcastic cuz I have such an amazing body, or if he was commenting on my crampses.I rep back 1,000+.
