After losing an incredible 100 pounds in a year, I still have this large section on my body that never goes away. I mean my hips and love handles.
Pictures speak a lot louder than words, but since I can't get any at the moment, I have been logging some numbers, Here goes:
Weight
119Kg
91 Kg
88 Kg
77 Kg
21.7% body fat
23 BMI
Body measurements
10/08/08
Neck 14
Chest 38
Shoulder Width 42
Biceps 12.5
Forearms 10
Waist 37
Hips 40
Quads 23
Calves 17.5
So as you can imagine I do have a disproprtionate (if that'sthe right word) body! Some bits larger than others
My food habit is not strict but I rarely eat junk.
My exercise is mainly cardio and has been since I started, hardly any weight training.
I would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of these damned love handles and hips!
Thanks

When you pick up that barbell or those dumbbells, you hold in your hands the key to scupting the body you want.
It's just time to lift.
Keep up with the cardio and good eating, and the love handles will eventually go.If I can do it, anyone can!

Keep doing what you are doing. You can't make your body lose fat from specific areas (Spot reduce). You just have to keep losing overall fat and those trouble areas will leave eventually. The areas you are talking about are generally the hardest for guys to lose. I would recommend you do some weight training to keep whatever muscle you have and to further assist in fat loss.

Wow! Nice to know that I'm not the only one. My measurements are almost exactly the same as yours right now and I've been wondering about this problem for a long time. Even with a shirt on, it can really be annoying how the lovehandles make you look more overweight than you really are!
I've given up to the fact that it's only going to come off if I keep losing, so my advice would be the same thing I'm going to do.. just keep inching away that fat
