What a GREAT ally US is. When s*** hits the fan they don't help?

Now that their second biggest ally is in war is the us going to abandon them? Georgia is the second largest contributor to Iraq other than the US and UK that means they are the US second biggest ally.

The VERY least US could do was to send an equal amount of soldiers to Georgia. But no it's easier to turn the other side, since their lives aint worth sh!t right, and besides 'we got enough to worry about' and 'were already in debt!' so thats how to treat an ally who commited lives for your cause, and when sh!t hits the fan....

NOT COOL.

What do u think misc? Let mother russia eat up the people who helped in Iraq when they had so little to give?

US sending troops into Georgia will not help, Russia will see it as even more of a threat and send in more of its own troops.

The US isn't perfect but I'd take them as my neighbour over anyone else.

Exactly. I don't think the U.S. could get into another drawn out war right now. The war would def. not be quick and cost us even more billions of dollars.

I'm not saying go to war, I'm saying atleast force the UN or someone to make it stop. Or atleast put equal amount of soldiers so Russia doesn't dare attack main land.

Basically Russia has a carte blanche because nobody dares do anything because of fear.

Georgia have commited probably more per capita the war than any other nation besides US. The least US could do was to TRY everything they could to get it stopped.

If georgia had a good president (yes before mikhail whatever the russians were very good with georgia), but the new georgian president is very pro american and will do anything to please them and thus the joining of NATO and is probably in exchange of many goods iono. He is just sucking up to america by having troops in iraq, there is no real purpose apart from that as to why georgia would have anything to do with iraq. maybe there is

and if NO then nobody can trust the US again when they ask for help, because it will not be returned. And that will only fuel the idea that US is only in it for the greens and their own agenda, and exploit whoever they have to to get their way. Not much better than russia imo.

georgia started this with full knoledget hey cant win. they expected for russia to back down, or support from the international community.

Georgia is the guy at the nightclub and the USA is all his friends.
Georgia decideds to go front up to a guy twice his size and thus gets put down.
