Question about carb ups

Is it absolutely necessary to start your carb up shortly before your final/depletion workout or is okay to just start the day after? I usually lift weights on Friday mornings then go to work, and I'm just thinking I'd rather start carbing up on Saturday instead of Friday. I'd go to the gym on Saturday, but my gym is lazy on the weekends and doesn't open until noon on Sat/Sunday, and by noon the day is half gone 0.o.

Can you work out friday evening, get one or two carb meals in after that and then do it until saturday evening.

Well it wouldn't be so bad if my gym wasn't 20 minutes away.. I'll probably be able to do cardio since I don't need to go the gym to do it.

kinda have the same prob , i want to workout sunday night and carbup monday as its a ski trip/bbq etc

wont be any time in the morn for a depletion

Well, I kind of inadvertently solved my problem this morning when I woke up late and wasn't able to go to the gym before work... They didn't really need me today at work anyways, but I just went after I left.
