How much peanut butter is too much?

I am trying to increase my calorie intake, and peanut butter with 200 calories per serving seems a very good choice. My question is what is the maximum daily amount I should be eating for this on a daily basis? Many say 40/40/20, that's a low percentage for fat, but since I am bulking, does it really matter to get too much fat? (and by this I mean healthy fats... 9 calories per gram is a lot, and will really help me get more calories).

*I still eat a lot of carbs and proteins.

Healthy fats are awesome, get as many as you desire within your calorie range (if protein requirements are met). The problem here would be content of PB, not so much the content of fat. Mix it up with some other fat sources. Fish, eggs, EVOO and avocado would do well.

Any of these "whole food" clean fat sources are good for you.

If it fits your targets go ahead and use as much is comfortable.

Nut butters (of various types) in particular are loaded with minerals and other vitamins/anti-oxidants.

Peanut butter isn't really a good choice, especially the common/ popular brands (skippy, jif, etc).

Virtually all sources of commercial peanut butter contain minute quantities of aflatoxin,[2] but it is usually far below the US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) recommended safe level.

Aflatoxins are naturally occurring mycotoxins that are produced by many species of Aspergillus, a fungus, most notably Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Aflatoxins are toxic and among the most carcinogenic substances known.[1] After entering the body, aflatoxins are metabolized by the liver to a reactive intermediate, aflatoxin M1, an epoxide.

So... that also means to avoid milk, corn, grains, pistachio, brazil, pecans, walnuts, and oils.
This is a much bigger problems in less developed Asian/African countries than most Western countries. Unlike third-world countries, where large outbreaks have occurred from the lack of regulatory measures and high exposure levels (the U.S. has no reported human outbreaks of acute aflatoxicosis, so if OP lives in U.S. woohoo).

I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Avoiding most on your list wouldn't be a bad idea. It is more likely to occur in peanuts though. Thanks for the link.

These days it's tough to determine where Co's are getting their raw material. It may be a US based Co, but could also be packaging outside the country. I don't know when the last occurrence was in the US, but it’s not uncommon for raw material to sit in silos for extended periods. I try not to assume these Co's have my best interest at heart when it comes to their bottom line. Even though it’s a false sense of security, these big boy$ aren't too concerned about karma.

Buddy, watch your calories. Someday you stall, how would you know what to change? You might gain more fat than muscle in few months, or might gain nothing to very little muslces. But if you know your calories and track your progress, you will have some degree of control on your progress. In other words, you would learn more about your self and how your body reacts to different calorie ranges bro!

That is what I use as well. This + Oatmeal, banana, Choc myo = sex in my mouth. Only bad thing is flax seeds sometimes get stuck in my teeth. I was eating about two jars a week the last six months while bulking. Now that it is over, I do so miss this.
