Effervescent Glutamine?

So I started taking this stuff called Effervescent Glutamine. I got a whole tub free from work.

You put it with water and it gets real fizzy. It tastes like lime and lemon. REALLY NICE. 5gms Glutamine per serve.

But I question what the hell is the purpose of making it bubble and stuff?

Supposedly the reason is to buffer stomach acid to reduce degradation. The bicarbonates themselves have potential benefits / nutritional value depending on the amount and type.

Probably not soemthing you want to consume too close to a meal since buffering stomach acid means less efficient digestion potentially.

As long as the active agent is "unknown" some dork is still gonna be poppin' chicken beaks so he can freakin' squat!

Crank up those catecholamines, that's not chicken I smell being cooked.
