beating the ultimate bday present

one of my best friends; his son had beyond the most amazing present last year haha

okay boston fans me included!!! this 8 year old kid last year got seats right behind the dugout to a game and got not only rated the #1 fan but also got asked to come and dance with the green monster on the field andd his favorite player had hit 5 homers that game unreal!! haha

his birthday is coming up in sept and his dad is frantic over what to do! haha they i guess haven't gotten a hold of any tickets to a game but even if they do i mean cmon the same ****'s not gunna happen!

first of all when i heard the story i was jealous as could be :P but also feel so terribly because the kid was at the gym and ran up today (loves me because of my boston decal on my car and i had on my hat today haha) and was like my daddy's gunna get me the best present EVEN better than last year

haha we all kinda laugh and tell his dad he's screwwwwwed but hey figured i'd throw out a post see if anyone had some clever ideas for the kiddo

Edit: besides , even if you did come up with something better this year, you'll have the same problem next year. Its probably better the kid knows now that things dont just get progressively better every year for no reason and to enjoy the exceptional moments when they come.

As for a surprise, I dont know if Fenway has any sort of skybox where you can have parties or not, but if they do you could just have a big party up in it with a bunch of the kids friends during a game.

Im guessing this guy is either rich or has some sort of connections from what he did in the previous year so this shouldnt be too difficult to pull off.

just an average trainer makes decent $; maybe i misheard him but i know it was a game where records for the player were set i was taking his kid around the gym haha little pre-occupied but sounds good bout the skybox thing
