    soccer conditioning

    alright highschool soccer starts august 11th and we do pretty much just running. im not in the best shape/dont have the best conditioning now because of some injuries not allowing me to work out or anything. what is the best way to get myself in shape putting as little stress on knees/hips as possible?

    swimming... i sprained my mcl a month ago and have college preseason that starts the same day as u...
    all i did was swim... try that... i use a kickboard put it between my legs and just swim freestyle with my arms... once ur knee/hip is better stop using the kickboard...

    i dont really have access to a swimming pool, do you think biking ups hills would suffice?

    yeah but i mean if u can bike go on long bike rides...keeps changing ur pace... uphill is goood if it doesnt cause too much pressure on ur knee..

    for my last yr in highschool i did spinning classes before preseason... that helped a lot...

    You don't really have a lot of time, but if you have access to a beach you should start running there. If not biking and an elliptical are your best bets. What sort of injury is it? Did you rehab properly?
