increased my fat intake and now coming out in spots!!!
im cycling my carbs throughout the week, with less than 30g on non training days. the trouble is since ive increased my daily fat to keep my kcals where they should be my skin has become more oily and a few spots are appearing on my back. anyone experienced this? my extra fats have come from yolks, abit of cheese and an increase in steak. the diet is working well so dont want to go back to my old diet regime just yet.

Could be an indicator that you're supplying a superabundance of fats (more than your body has need for).
OR, could just be a bad reaction to fermented dairy fat (cheese).
I'd try dropping the cheese for 2-3 days and see if that helps.

I noticed this too. I started about a week ago to go into keto, and I have had afew spots on back and shoulders. I never get spots so I was wondering if this was the cause...what are your fat sources? I like the results as well, just find it hard to find foods for my diet

im not on a keto diet so i get the best of both. i love carbs! the 3 days a week i dont train with weights i,ll be going no carb. i enjoy the day cause i get to eat other food i dont normally. so far im eating whole eggs, cheese, hamburgers (homemade) mayonase on my chicken. corned beef. i,ll try this for a month or 2 and see how i get on.

I had an itchy rash when I started keto...
...turned out I was drinking coffee, diet sodas....
and not enough water.... after drinking at a minimum 1 gallon (about 4 litres) of water a day, have not had a problem since...
(I also use Morton's Lite Salt (it has Potassium and Sodium) since I drink so much water)
also take a multivitamin daily, and endurolytes when I workout to make sure I have enough electrolytes...
lol, the itchiness sometimes fades in, but then I realize I have not drank enough water...
so to make a long story short... try increasing your water intake

ok not spots.. but almost like mosquito bumps.. I know their not mosquitos because this one I just got in my office. They itch for a while and some hurt.
I might need to increase my water I do drink 1 diet dr pepper a day. I also have 3 sargento cheese sticks.

the liver converts stored energy to fat.
its other duty is to pick up slack of the kidneys.
make your liver happy.. drink water.

How long have you been doing Keto... I got something similar to what you have on my 1st week....
I found that drinking lots of water helped a lot...
now, everytime, I dont drink enough water, sometimes the itchiness comes back... which is fine with me, just lets me know I need to drink lots more water...
hope this helps!
