    Protein and creatine for dogs

I'm trying out some AST VP2 and some Syntrax Swole in place of the standard HDT 5+1 and Prolab's creatine monohydrate. Do you think it'd be OK to spike my dog's food with the WPC and creatine mono to see if she gets bigger and stronger? Satan is already pretty big at 55 lbs last weighing.

I don't want to make her sick or anything. But it'd cool to get her up to around 80lbs and super strong. She's a Belgian Sheepdog.

i used to give my rottweiller supplements. they were specifically for dogs. called something like "...performance" it had bcaas and protein, creatine and others. it was designed for sled dogs.
to make your dog bigger and ripped i would use the same principles as bodybuilding.
    1. training 2. rest 3. diet. i fed him twice daily instead of once. also i ran him 3 times a week by bike. and hiked once. after training i waited 30min. for his stomach to rest then fed him his powder and one meal. it usually took only two weeks for him to look ripped to the bone with some added mass. massages also helped with recovery and the ripped look. as well as FLAX oil. i used speed work so mostly sprints and intervals of 1/4mile to 1mile. workload was no more than two miles but you can go more but i wanted him to have a high anaerobic threshold and fast recovery not long slow running.
one improtant thing about my dogs that i wish i did from their youth was brush their teeth. especially after taking the powder supplements they get grit on it. plaque affects the heart and causes heart disease.
DO NOT give your dog any supplements with cocoa or chocolate as it is toxic to them.
good luck. i love dogs. belgian sheep dogs are pretty cool, are you training her for any sport?

I got my dog on deca. He is a 2 year old pitbull. He has one many a dog fighting contest for me. I dont have to work a regular job any more. I even name him Deca. I wanted to stud him out but I think I made him infertile with the gear. Felt bad. Brought him a real nice bitch and he just growled at her. He lives for the fighting I guess.

Why on earth would you want to feed your dog supplements? If you are being serious, you are one messed up motha. lol Creatine for dogs, that'll be the day when supplement companies start advertising it to make people's dogs bigger and stronger.

    hey whatever.
you do your own thing. if you've seen people that take dogs seriously some feed their dogs supplements. check out any sport dog magazines, hunting, schutzhund, show, breeding, sled, etc. as far as giving your dog gear that's your own business i don't advise that. supplements in dogs work just as they do in people. average dog food is not sufficient for the way some of these dogs are used. there's even fertility supplements because it is such a big deal.

Hey, thanks Peregrine. Seems like it's probably OK then. I'll start her off with two 12g servings of protein and 2 1g servings of creatine. She's not being trained for competetion or work. But she gets a lot of unleashed exercise.

    No PH's though.

Sure. Tell you what: Next time lil' Satan is ready for dinner, just throw some creatine in with the beer you probably give her. No worries man.

I disagree. Unlike most of the regurgitated "when do i take creatine" garbage in this forum, this is interesting and something new.
Capitalisation is important. See the sentence "I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse."

This message board is for humans. Yes, it is true that people give their animals supplements made for humans. I'm sure they have websites for that though.
