Right now i bet everyone on here thinks they'll bb aslong as they can, damn i thought that a few months ago but am now getting pretty bored of it, i have no problem getting myself to the gym and pushing hard through the workout but i don't think it's competitive enough for me, I have no plans at all on competing.
Pros:
Looking good
Cons:
Social life suffers
Hesitant to do things because you might miss a workout/meal
Making sure you eat all the meals/get the supplements
More worried about how you look
Really thinking about starting boxing again, it'll be hard to get over the 'damn i'm getting small' but i think it'll be worth it. The thing i like about other sports is you can pretty much train as much as you want, you won't hear a boxer screaming overtraining after an hour in the gym. Also you have the fighting, the feeling that if you don't train you're gonna get beat infront of your friends and family, you have the buzz of the fight night.
This aint a put down of bbing, i've been proper into for the last few years.

See i always thought the same, but now i just can't get into it. The buzz just aint there. Feel like it's holding me back in life, for something which at the end of the day doesn't matter. i think in 60years i'm gonna look back and think 'ffs why didn't you do all those things instead of lift weights' i don't see what i get from it any more.

well i wasnt saying you should lift for respect... but i was just showing you the perks man, i think you respect yourself more and love yourself more as well because you know your doing something other ppl find very hard to do and you have or are succeeding in it... its a life changing experience man when you can change how your body looks you shape the way your mind thinks about yourself and others and just life in general... atleast with me thats how it is cause its not just about bbing, its about eating healthy as well and feeling gr8 about yourself

I'll always eat healthy for the rest of my life, I'm not able to eat junk / other crap without feeling bad about and I don't even like the taste.
I'll always do some maintenance, like going to the gym at least once a week when I get older, possibly more, but I won't follow a strict routine / diet like I do now.
Staying healthy and being in better shape than 90% of the population of my age is my long term goal.

Ummm I dunno. If I take more than 1 day off I get sooo lazy I have no motivation to get back in the gym....so I am one of those people that has to go every day to get in the swing of things. I like to lift to look better...get stronger, but mostly for looks. I dunno if I would say i'd QUIT...but I deffinately would slow down. Its getting ridiculous the amount of time I spend at the gym.

Only reason im stopping is if my legs, and arms become disabled. Or if i become a vegetable.
But seriously the only reason i think ill stop is if it interferes with my education, and career. (highly doubt it will though) Even than I would probably start up again.
Than again.. you never know what lifes gonna throw at you.
