Exclamation **Router Problem!!!**

My internet went down for some reason last night and I had to call up technical support to help me get my internet running again. The problem is they made me reset my settings for my modem it seems and now my router won't work correctly with the modem..

I have already
-Reset my modem and router
-Disconnected and Reconnected cables
-Reset my router

I have a Linksys Wireless-G Router (I don't use the wireless) I use it for a wired connection.
Model: WRT54GS Version 4 (View Picture Attatched)

It used to work before this problem occured and now it's chosing not to work.

How do i fix this problem??!!

Reps for whoevers method works. (sorry I don't have much power...)

I've had problems with that router before. I had to upgrade the firmware. You can do that on their website. You might want to call Linksys. They have pretty good customer service.

You say the router was reset so they're no harm in resetting it again.
- power off modem
- reset router (hold reset button for 10 seconds, it will power cycle. Wait 2min and Unplug it for another 10sec, then plug it back in)
- Make sure the machine you are using to test the router is set to obtain its IP address by DHCP same for DNS.
