I agree, increasing NO will harden muscles. Citrulline Malate is the best for increasing NO. Another great ingredient for increasing muscle hardness is Ecdysterone.

an ai like 6 bromo or chrysin, etc will reduce water retention due to estrogen. Also, lean xtreme and some non-pct requiring stuff like act x/ rpm/drive have made me feel "tighter" and produce said hardening effect

Test Boosters give this sort of effect. Increased testosterone levels generally lead to muscle maturity which gives that hard look. If your interested in going that route, give Regenesen a look. It's a pretty strong test booster that boosts test from multiple different angles, directly, indirectly with the 6-bromo AI, and freeing up bound inactive testosterone. The AI should help dry you out a bit as well for an ever harden appearance.

Keep in mind, if your bodyfat is even remotely high, everything you do will be pointless. You have to be pretty damn lean to get a hard appearance.
