its true, the average male arm is between 9-13 inches, although you hvae to take into consideration that this is probably an average of all ethnicitys (asians, europeans, africans) in america, ontop of being over a large area of age(18-50), i mean if you took the average white male 30 year old arm, im sure it would be more like 14-16 inches or something, but there is a wide array of people being rated.

Those things are not accurate. If you walked fast to it and took the reading, if you rode your bike a half hour ago, you didn't do much of anything that day yet etc. Tons of things that will affect it.

lol strong broscience
the machines do exactly what they are supposed to do
THEY READ YOUR CURRENT BLOOD PRESSURE
they can't possibly factor in your fitness level, age, weight, height, activity performed, your oxygenation rate (not sure quite what that is called, but w/e)
they don't do it any better than a doctor would do, they just read your blood pressure

Yea...and it also has a chart/diagram there stating your age and what your blood pressure should read. That is why I'm saying to disregard them because unless your blood pressure is extremely high or low then there is nothing wrong. And if it was high or low... you would know it alright. People probably use the things and because it is higher or lower for their age they freak out.

and can you please explain to us all how doing some physical activity makes a blood pressure machine inaccurate?
