Lightbulb OT: Saving valuable information here.

Somewhat OT at least, It's not really about AAS as much as about the forum itself. I was reading the thread this section is being targeted by muscle missions now.. and realised that with one bad wave of publicity, all of the valuable information I use on here could be gone without any warning someday... So, I started saving the information to my thumb drive, and thought there might be a few others out there interested in saving threads of particular interest to them. For windows IE users, it's real easy to save threads, just go up to File, and save as, and you can save entire pages of web content. (for Windows XP and Vista users, you may not see the "file" listed, if you just hit the alt key, you'll see that button pop-up).

Personally, i'm going to save most of the "best of" threads that I use for information, as well as number of threads I've got bookmarked/subscribed to. Hopefully this section will always be here as a wealth of information for adults who are looking to improve themselves, and as an honest discouragement to underage potential users.

there is freeware software out there that can "crawl" a website and store a copy of it on your hard drive.

not sure how that would work with a forum though, since it looks like there is nothing in the web address to tell it what forum to look in...
