Character Creation and Information
Character Class:
What to play and why?
Key Classes:
These are "needed" by any Clan as they supply a service.
Doctor
Administers complex medical treatments to themselves or others. Every treatment has a minimum level that the doctor must be at in order to administer it. When administering medicine the doctor will lose 3% hunger instantly. A Doctor cannot apply treatments if his hunger or health is lower than 25%
Chef
Can cook food for themselves and other players. As with the Doctor, the Chef must be a certain level in order to cook the food. The chef loses 3% hunger when cooking something. A Chef cannot cook if his hunger or health is lower than 25%.
Engineer
Can repair armour for themselves and others. Every piece of armour has a level at which the Engineer must be at in order to repair it. No items are required to repair, but the Engineer with loose 5% hunger per job and cannot use this skill if either his health or hunger are below 25%.
Scientist
Every 24 hours the Scientist will automatically create medical treatments, of a random quantity and type. Generally the higher level the Scientist, the more items are created. Items will only be created if there is enough inventory space for them, and the items will only appear if you logged in that day.
Farmer
Every 24 hours the Farmer will automatically create high quality foods, of a random quantity and type. Generally the higher level the Farmer, the more items are created. Items will only be created if there is enough inventory space for them, and the items will only appear if you logged in that day.

Stat Classes:
Athlete
The bonus with agility is helpful for the more experienced players, who feel comfortable with a knife. The faster movement speed at the start, will allow for easier exploration and the possibility to find better loot early on.
Boxer
A higher base melee and strength, allowing him to start off with better weapons than the other classes once he finds them/has the money to purchase them.
Fireman
The axe is one of the best starting weapons, as well as the higher endurance meaning the fire fighter can take that bit more damage at the start.
Police Officer
Is the best-ranged weapon character at the start, due to the increase in gun specific attributes. Also suffers no experience cost for this.
Soldier
A fantastic stat boost at the start of the game, but with a heavy cost due to the 15% increase in experience needed to level. (Level 50 for instance, requires 500,000 experiences + 15%.)
Role Playing Classes:
These have an increase to experience, as well as a starting amount of money to reflect the profession they are in. They were placed in the game for the role-play forums but of course, people who don't desire to role-play can still use them.
What NOT to do!
Do not pick the Soldier or Police Officer just because they start with a firearm. The gun they start with is useless, as many people will testify. You will get one or two free kills with it, which isn't even the first level and after that it's as good as scrap.
What you SHOULD do!
Pick one of the "key classes" for easier money, once you have the hang of the game these will always be needed and once we have established a Clan we will need such people to help out the rest of us.
STICK to two weapon types. For instance, if you choose the Police Officer DO NOT put any points in melee. It is a waste. Since a Clan will need TWO aspects, decide if you want to be more PVE (Player vs Environment) or PVP (Player vs Player).
If you go for PVE you need to focus on melee, the silent kills from it are very helpful to avoid large zombie swarms (will explain later) and you do not loose money due to having to use bullets. Once you get melee to 100 pick a second weapon type.
If you go PVP stick with two ranged weapons, max one out and then the other. A good type of weapon is, explosives, machine guns and shotguns for PVP.
Attributes and Weapon Proficiencies:
Attributes
Strength: Allows you to carry heavier weapons and armour.
Agility: Determines the movement speed of your character.
Endurance: Determines how much damage your character can take before dying[1] & how long they can sprint for.
Critical Hit: Increases the chance to do 5times the amount of damage as a normal strike. (Grenade launchers + shotguns cannot score a critical hit.)
Accuracy: Ranged weapon skill, determining how likely you are to hit the target.
Reloading: Ranged weapon skill that determines the speed you change ammunition-magazines.
Weapon Proficiencies:
(PICK TWO)
There are currently six types of weapons in the game: Melee, Pistols, Shotgun, Rifle, Machine Gun and Explosives. The higher your proficiency the higher level of weapons you are able to use.

Let's get this show on the road
So you are ready, you know the controls, you have your character and he's ready to **** **** up. To get into a game you must:
Click Outpost
Click Inner City
Click Single/Multiplayer.
Single: You will go directly into a game.
Multiplayer: You must select a game to go into.
(Right now, at level 1 go single player.)
Level 1: What should I do?
At the start (when you begin) single player, is honestly, your friend! Multiplayer is more designed for groups and due to this always has more zombies.
What to do first?
Learn how to dodge and use the knife, it doesn't come naturally to everyone so don't expect it to come naturally to you. The key here is - attack and step back, attack and step back. Once you have mastered the basics (attacking) you can begin to slowly explore the game.
You can loot dead bodies, cars, and some crates - but not all. Normally the better items are located indoors and also further away from the Outpost. However, at low levels don't expect to find anything amazing.
Focus on single player till you are level 5. You don't find out you level up in game, you have to go back to the outpost so at level 1 check after 5 kills, level 2 check after 12, level 3 check after about 20 and so on and so fourth.
If you pick up food, plasters and weapons - right now this is an added bonus. Right now you need to learn how to play, so we can begin to do group runs.
WARNING: If you die you loose a portion of your experience, at higher levels you can loose over 50% of any experience gained. So be careful!
(Don't think about multiplayer till at least level 5 and till you have at least a baseball bat.)
I've levelled up: What should I do?
Right now, in my view agility is key for the game. You can up endurance to take more damage, you can increase critical hit to do more damage. But none of that will matter when you enter the later areas and find out the zombies outrun you.
I focused on getting agility to 60. So that you can explore into the later stages of the game and begin to make money, this is key to the game - money is everything. Put points into which every weapons group you desire to use. Whichever weapons will make you happy, everyone is unique like that so I won't give any advice there.
Health and how do I heal?
In game, you can only heal with two items: Plasters and Antiseptic Spray - both of these you must press I and go to your inventory screen to apply. You also automatically heal whenever you level up.
The only other way to heal is to find or buy (more on that later) healing items. You must then:
Go to the forums
Services section.
Shop around for a Doctor.
Click the HIRE button in their trade window.
Click the item you wish for them to use to heal you.
Nomnomnom: I'm hungry!
Food, glorious food, something or other...
You have various levels of hunger in the game:
Nourished = 75%+
Fine = 74 - 50%
Hungry = 49 - 25%
Starving = 24 - 0%
Nourished: You receive 100% of exp at this level, whenever you manage to kill an enemy. Below nourished you only receive 50%.
Starving: You loose 1% of your healthy every 2minutes, till you die at this level. (Thus you must never be starving.)
I need food!
Just like healing, you can find food. Check the level of the food - if you can consume it and it is higher than the level or equal to the level you are, than you are able to go to nourished however if it is below your level you can only go to fine (74%.) As you get higher in levels, food is harder to come by and you may find uncooked food ? due to this, you will need to hire a chef. To do this:
Go to the forums
Services section.
Shop around for a Chef.
Click the HIRE button in their trade window.
Click the item you wish for them to cook.
Trade
To buy, or sell or even to scrap?
Buying
To buy:
Go to the forums
Selling section.
Look around for the item you want.
Scroll down to the item in question.
Click buy.
Selling
To sell:
Go to your inventory
Scroll down to the item in question
Click on the sell button.
Set a price.
Then:
Go to the forums
Selling section.
Click: New Topic
Topic Name (what you are selling for instance)
A quick post (detailing prices is also nice.)
Scraping?
Some items are just a waste of time to try and sell. For these go to:
Inventory
Scroll down to the item
Scrap.
The Bank AKA Storage
WARNING: ANY money you have on you when you die is lost, so always visit the Bank and deposit any money you have on you.
The bank will hold an infinite amount of money, however you can't pay from your bank currently. So when you find something you want to buy, you must go here and withdraw funds.
And there we go, a simple, 4 page guide on:
How to play this game.
If you find this helpful, please rep me. :-)
I'll make a more advanced guide, when I get a chance and I will also create a clan when the system is properly launched.
