Irish is back and ready to shed 'baby weight'!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone! I'm back and ready more than ever to reach my goals!!!
As many of you know, I just had a baby boy in May and it's been a blast!! I have managed to lose most of my 'baby weight' but still have 10more pounds to go!
I've been lifting and doing cardio for a month now. Here is what I've been doing:
monday- chest/tris/shoulders, 20min cardio
tuesday- rest or cardio (if I can get time w/ the baby)
wednesday-legs
thursday-rest or cardio(if I can get time w/ the baby)
friday- back/bis, 20min cardio
saturday- cardio and pilates
sunday-rest or cardio (if I can get time w/ the baby)
*right now I'm definetly in the gym on mondays/wednesday/fridays for my lifting sessions...however on the other days where I would like to do cardio, it's a little tough so if I can get out w/ the baby to walk, I do or I go on my treadmill at home for a half hour...so it depends on the day.
*The one thing I really need help w/ is my diet! I never know how many calories or what my macros should be for my goal. So if you could all help me out w/ that....that would be great I will try to post my meal every day so you all can help me adjust.

-calf raises 40# 4x25 reps
-leg extension 50# 3x10
-leg curls 60# 3x10
-step ups 3x12
back/bis day-
-assisted chin ups 4x86lbs of assisted weight
-lat pull downs 50# 4x10

Are you breastfeeding??
Congrats again! I think its wonderful that you are jumping back into your workouts (Great inspiration considering I'm scared to death of getting pregnant....lol)
Thanks so much...I'm eager to see changes!!!
I am breastfeeding still, however I just started to give him formula yesterday. I'm only going to give him one formula bottle a day (unless I'm out and he needs a bottle ASAP lol) and I will continue to nurse. I'm just trying to prepare him for september when I go back to work because I'll only be able to nurse him part-time (nights and weekends). He took the formula well yesterday and today so I hope no bad reactions occur *fingers crossed*

I usually have one egg yolk/day and I eat almonds, natural peanut butter, EVOO, etc. Not too much though. my fat stays between 30-35g/day
My legs are soooo sore today. It feels funny to walk lol
I'm tired too and my throat is a little sore uh oh...hope I'm not getting sick!
tomorrow I have my hair trial for the wedding...she's going to do different styles and I'll choose the one I want for my wedding day so exciting!
I'm going to try and do 20-30min on my treadmill or get to the gym for back/biceps...we'll see...if not then I'll go tomorrow.
last night I had some red wine and popcorn for a snack

pills? yeah I need to buy more. It's so expensive to be healthy!! lol
any critiques on the diet? Workouts I usually have under control...diet is where I lack knowledge.
Question: Do you think it will hurt my progress not getting much cardio in? I have trouble getting it done. I definetly do cardio 2x/week for 20min after my lifting....but I don't guarantee much more...thoughts????

If your diet is in check (which it looks to be if you add in the healthy fat) then you don't need to focus hard core on the cardio! I take Fish Oil supps as well...
Have fun tomm and I'm sure you'll get a fantastic hairstyle for the big day!!!
Get some rest so your sore throat doesn't turn into anything more!!

Eats cheese for muscle
Hey, looking forward to following along! Congrats on becoming a mommy!
'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak
And when you feel weak you feel like you want to just give up
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that *** out of you and get motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you want to just fall flat on your face and collapse.
