Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds
Is anyone else hopelessly addicted to these damn things? I love almonds, and although I'm not much of a sweet tooth, I figured I'd try 'em since I had a coupon. I was getting a bit tired of the jalapeno almonds that I always buy, so I figured wut-the-hay.
Well........they are freakin delicious. Dry roasted with a dusting of dark cocoa powder on them. A bit on the dry side, but oh so gooooood.
I'm up to almost a canister every 2 days - and @ $5 or $6/canister, they ain't cheap.
Of all my vices (and I have many), I never thought I'd be taken down by almonds. Chocolate ones at that.
Damn those Emerald Nut people!

There's a guy at work that always has something from those Emerald Coast people...check the label and make sure it doesn't have cocaine listed as an ingredient or something. LOL
Soooo...if you like jalapeno almonds, I'll bet you'll LOVE peanut butter stuffed jalapenos. Take a jalapeno and cut it in half and remove the seeds if you want. Then put peanut butter in both halves (kinda like when you eat peanut butter and celery). I swear I'm gonna get someone else hooked on this snack! LOL

Ooh, I'm going to have to try both the cocoa almonds and the peanut butter stuffed jalapenos! I've never liked celery so the peanut butter/celery combo has never been an option, but I love jalapenos.

And Amanda, those pb stuffed jalapenos sound sooo good!

Maybe I just had to make the jalapeno = celery connection. Most people seem to think I'm a freak when I mention the pb jalapeno combo! LOL
PB & jal is a nice change from eating walnuts with my cottage cheese at night every so often...just a serving suggestion.

I found the cocoa roast almonds at Sam's! Like $9-$10 for a big container! They are addicting!

Recovery is key. Massages, epsom salts baths, foam rolling, sleep masks, contrast showers, it all adds up. Get a foam roller, The Stick, a tennis/baseball, use them and stay healthy, pain and injury free.
