I like do it every once and a while. Just make sure you drink your PWO shake before, if you spend like 15-20 minutes in there.
Two hands working do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.

Most of the problems with the bodies and minds of the folks occupying the current culture involve an unwillingness to do anything hard, or anything that they'd rather not do. I applaud your resolve, and I welcome you to the community of people who have decided that EASY will no longer suffice.

The human body is in an abnormal state when hard physical labor is removed from it's lifestyle.

its great after a workout, it relieves the body of toxins and your immune system is lowered after a work out and toxins are also produced, so it will definetly be beneficial, just dont go into the steam room.

    sure do..

for steam rooms, they use tap water.

    whats in tap water??

    chlorine,flouride, a bunch of other ****.

now that water that has all that **** in it is turned into steam.

    what happens??

turns it into a gas chamber.

it would be good if they used filtered water, but they dont. its literally like sitting in a chlorine gas chamber.

brah it feels awesome and i read a long time ago that 20 minutes of continuous sweating is equivalent to the amount of filtering your kidney's can do in 24 hours. it's good.

You're right..the sauna doesn't do ****. You just sweat out water like you did during your whole workout. Sweating excretes an extremely small amount of toxins (urea) and is mostly salt and water..not toxins. Your kidneys are the only organs that excrete 'toxins.' The sauna is good to relax in, that's it. It doesn't do any magical ****.

dude you just made that up. what does the chlorine do to you? nothing. just like when you swim in a pool. it does nothing. might dry your skin a little, but it really doesn't do anything.

and tap water isn't bad (in most cases). i drink it every day.

what are toxins? a marketing scam made up to sell "cleansing" products. and a word people use to make themselves feel better after a night of drinking.

what the hell is a toxin? no one knows. and no one can explaine what they are. your kidneys and liver discrete waiste products from your body.

i'm not saying sweating is bad. i love working up a good sweat (see avitar). but your not gonna sweat out "toxins"

    what happens??

turns it into a gas chamber.

it would be good if they used filtered water, but they dont. its literally like sitting in a chlorine gas chamber.
Wait... so when I boil my tap water to make pasta I'm FILLING MY HOUSE WITH CHLORINE GAS?

Most of the problems with the bodies and minds of the folks occupying the current culture involve an unwillingness to do anything hard, or anything that they'd rather not do. I applaud your resolve, and I welcome you to the community of people who have decided that EASY will no longer suffice.

Muscles - Muscles do not grow while you are working out; they grow while you are resting. Training stresses and damages the muscles slightly, and then your body reacts by building up those muscles you just exercised in order to handle the extra work and stress next time. A sauna or steam after exercise induces muscle relaxation, which enhances this process, thereby allowing you to maximize muscle performance during your next work out
