When I was on the anabolic diet, I used to have my most macro rich meal as the last one before my work out. On keto do I still have to do that? It doesn't make sense since I'm trying to get fat adapted so I don't want a greater carb intake preWO right? Already I get my carbs from trace...spinach green beans, carbs in cheese etc. Does the pre work out meal need to be richer in any type of macro or is it more an overall macro content that matters?

Thanks for the reply folks but here's the thing. Even on CKD I'm consuming 15 g Dex PWO....and it doesn't knock me out of ketosis...and that is STILL CKD!!!! Even on CKD we consume carbs during the day...just under 20g or so for the first couple weeks then 30g or so later on.... trace carbs get in there somehow. My question was do I need to keep my pre work out meal free of trace carbs. For example...a turkey breast with melted cheese....or just cheese! Or eat as normal. I don't believe TKD means you eat spinach during the day...and CKD means you don't (for example)
My ingredients throughout the day include natty PB, spinach, green beans, cottage cheese...all these have carbs in them but I am still on CKD.
