Why did you choose your bb.com nickname?
I'm not sure what determines off topic or if I posted in the right place but anyway, I have been reallly curious as to why some choose the name they do when they start an account so I thought it would be fun to post why or what it means to you. : )
Mine for instance Kymn is a name that my husband gave me. He said I was unique and that was a name he liked for me. Kind of a pet/love name. Awwww..
So let's hear the story behind your nick!
Kymn~

Mine is not at all interesting, but many people think that the 'TD' in my name is for 'touchdown'...but it's actually my middle initial and my surname's initial.
So there you go!
Other people do have more interesting stories, so I will keep tuned to see what they are!
Good choice of thread Kymn!

This is my AIM screen name that I have had for at least 8 years.
I was sparklebear and my best friend at the time was twinklebear. I thought they were super cute. I tend to use sparklebear00 when I don't feel like using my given name (as my other usual alias uses my real name and my birthday). It's Martina, by the way.

I'm a big movie geek, so my name on here is after the Varla character in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, a 1965 film directed by Russ Meyer.

I picked my name because I'm "Heidi's mommy", but a lot of people think Heidi is my name. Since both words are stuck together I think it easy to overlook.

Years ago when I first played Final Fantasy VII, Aeris became my favorite character in the game. She still is.
Most of my friends were/are big into video games, and they told me that she should be my alias. We look nothing alike, but they think I act like her in person.
So..now I'm Aeris

I chose my name since I was living overseas for a while and never felt like I had a home.
I wish I could change it now though....I am finally in my own house in my home country and loving it!
Great thread

Well, the "Chef" part is because that's what I am. "K-Lo" is the initial of my first name and the the first two letters of my last name.
My friends would always call me "K-Lo" (ha... though I look nothing like the person from which that moniker was derived) and it just sorta stuck.

Shock_and_awe is kind of a joke name. I am refering to the military term of totally dominating your enemy with overwhelming force. BB.com is full of people who are totally hardcore lifters and I'm a total n00b and I'm kind of making fun of myself a little.

Female+cop=femcuffs. Not a lot of imagination, i admit, but it does work!

I like to drive faaaast!
In my job, (Patrol Deputy) I love to drive with "Lights and Siren's" on which is referred to as "Code 3" hence Love+Code3
In my jurisdiction, we have code 1 and 3. This kind of explains it a little:
Code 1- no hurry, use a slow response with no lights or siren, plenty of chocolate covered cream filled donuts left,
Code 2- quicker response justified and better step it up and use the roof lights, stock is starting to run low and 8 people are in line,
Code 3- there is only one of my favorite donuts left and 3 people in line who all like chocolate, better use lights and siren and fly like a monkey on crank.
All calls are important, but some take precedence.

I originally made up this name as a variation of "Paris" because I didn't want people thinking of Paris Hilton I've used it as an alias for years now and it's actually pronounced "pie-russ."

My husband says that when we go out I tend to disappear quickly, quietly, and all of a sudden. Then he ends up looking all over the place for me. So he says that I am like a little black ninja.

Mine is what Yahoo stuck me with like 10 years ago. My first name is Erin and my middle name is Lee. erinlee was taken and erinlee01 is what they suggested. I use it everywhere I don't want to use my name.

Lil' Red has been a nickname of mine forever, and #3 was my jersey number when I played soccer. Easy enough!
