deadlifting + short arms
ive been stuck at the same weight for weeks. its really pissing me off cuz i try and go up in weight and my form just gets sloppy. i.e. right when i start to lift the weight off the ground my back rounds. i cant do anything about it either. im getting so pissed. ive been watching many videos of people deadlifting and proper form and ive noticed that having long arms is an advantage. (sorry if all of you know that)
so im going to raise the weight off the floor about 4-6 inches and see how that works out. i think ill just use some wood and put carpet over it. (yes home gym)
anyone else have any other suggestions?

The problem is you're pulling off of your toes, not off of your heels. Curl up your toes, it will teach you to pull from your heels. Also, keep your head up, flex your abs, and stick out your chest.

i do all of that. i'll keep trying though obviously. im just getting really frustrated because people with long arms make it look so easy.

Uh...have you tried widening your grip? That'll give you a larger range of motion...I'm not sure if that would help or make it worse.
