Hi Bi n Tri
From the photo you look like you have good arm development and size, not a great photo to make judgement from. Post some stats ie bodyfat % measurements. Dieting naturally I have found does unfortunately bring with it muscle loss and you have to take this into consideration. I competed in my first show at 36 and was suprised at how much weight I had to lose to get cut and ended up competing in a show three months later than the one I intended to. I would say you have nothing to lose in dieting for a show and it gives you a great sense of achievement no matter what your placing.

Hell yes, start training for a show. Even if you dont do it you can reach new levels with goals like that!
How young are you??

Fitnessman is right. Take the challenge and see how far it will take you. There's so much to learn from it!

I agree with the last two posts. The worst that could happen is that you end up accelerating this year's progress.

Hey Kendo
I turn 50 this year and want to start competing in October in the "grand masters" class (50 to 59). I am wanting some input on weak areas to bring up from older members that compete. What would be a productive way to go about this using this forum?
