ON 100% Gold Strandard Vanilla Ice Cream

This has been my favorite all around whey for close to a year now and thought it deserved a review. I have gone through probably 6 -5lb tubs in the last year of ONs Vanilla Ice Cream while cycling other proteins in and out. I have not tried too many Vanilla wheys(EAS, Body Fortress are others), but I love ONs 100%. Again, this is my fave all around. Don't always have the money for the designer PWO drinks and I always fall back here

Opening: I still remember smelling it the first time. I could actually smell the Vanilla and it wasn't hidden by any other smell. I almost wanted to lick some right then haha.

Taste: Depending on what you mix this in, it never seems to fail me. I don't care for it in water too much, but theres only been one protein I have tried and consistently used it in water(UP 2.0).

Mixability: In a blender I've obviously never had a problem. In regular shakers, it requires some good shaking but you'll get it. A Blender Bottle is best as the whisk ball gets it all. It all really depends on what you're mixing it with too.

Overall: As I've stated, I feel this is a good protein. It fits the bill for me in price, taste, and flexability. I will continue to use it for as long as I'm in the game or someone points me in another direction

My favorite ways of mixing it:
1 scoop + 8 oz Minute Maid Cherry Limeaid
1 scoop + 3/4 scoop Powdered Gatorade
2 scoops + 32 oz G2
1 scoop + 2-3 tbsp Nat Peanut Butter

I know I might take some heat for saying this, but I am just not impressed with ON's Gold Standard protein's flavoring. The ingredient profile is fine, but I have never had a flavor that was worth buying again. Just sayin.

I love the Vanilla. If you check the ingredients there are simply less non-protein things in it than the others flavors. I want my protein to be just that. I'd rather add my own flavoring anyway.
