a thread haha. i love r32's. maybe more than the other ones.
i will own one someday i swear.

fuk yeah skylines... NO REAR SPOILER - Veilside body kits ftw.... now thats what im talkin about...

my brothers mate has an R33 GTR .... 480kw @ all 4 wheels... we was @ the race track bout a month ago.. and he raced it.. had a set of 19's on it i think.. and couldnt catch traction all the way down the track lol... monster.

only thing i dont like about R33's is the back lights.. rather R32 back end.

Id much much rather a R33 over a R34 anyday. UNLESS we are talking GTR spec (which im neva gonna afford lol).

Its so good here in Aus you can still buy R33 GTS-T for 10-15k ! Commodore killers haha

I will be buying an R32 at the end of the year. I'll be looking for a 93-94 model as the older RB26's bottleneck was the oil pump. This was recified in the post 93's which was the weak link in the bottom end.

Probably a V-Spec as they are only 3-4k more but have the upgraded ATTESSA system and Brembo brakes which itself are worth the extra few k.
Considering Nissan made 40,000 GTR's and only 1000 each of V-Spec (I and II) they will hold value very well.

Uhh, no. R33s are the worst of the bunch. I'd go R34, R32, and R33.

I dig the skyline without spoilers. Just seems that where I have lived past and present every derro has one and they **** them up with their dvd sized exhaust with an almost near stock engine. Having a veilside front bumper and then only not to have skirts or the rear bumper done. Ugh.

if i was gonna spend the cash, id go r32 all the way... heads n cam package , massive frontmount, huge turbo, id try keep the boost low though - to many problems are caused by boosters. but then again.. if i had the cash.... ^_-

If you'd keep the boost low just get aftermarket twins like a pair of GT-SS's. Far more responsive than a big single. Of course with higher boost levels the equation is different.

this is my old Skyline was a fun car but the cars we import are trash. There cars are beaten to death and thats just what they are for.
Its ok they're pretty cheap as yopu can get one for les than 10k

You'll probably never see anything other than an R33 here in the states driving on the roads. Unless it's a pure show car. Stupid import laws because of emissions and crash ratings...

First turbo? GTR's aren't sequential, they are parallel. JZ's in the Supra's use sequential and 90% of people switch to a single anyway.

1.5k boost is pretty low spool even for a small set of turbo's. The XR6T hit boost at 1.5k and that runs something low like 6psi on a 4ltr engine. (FG's are 9psi i think)

I am unaware of how fast skylines are, what are the specs of a stock one?

And I ve seen some g35s with Skyline on the back is that just some herb that put that on there or is it an actual package?

G35/V35 are just some money making cars Nissan made, has nothing to do with the GTR's.

For specs you need to look up R32-35 GTR's.

Of the top of my head R32-34 were around 4.7-4.8 0-62mph
Stock quaters were under 13 seconds

Tho you need to understand that these cars came limited in top speed/power from factory due to jap law.
The manufacturers had an agreement to not release anything with more than 280hp, and until the R35 that was the case.

Thats why these cars are modded, not so much to make them more powerful than they were intended, only to unlocked the potential they already have.
