Is eating uncooked quick oats bad for you?
Is eating uncooked quick oats bad for you? I have put quick 1-minute oats and old-fashioned oats in my protein shake for almost 2 years now. My brother claims it is bad to consume uncooked oats.

My argument is they are pre-cooked.

unless its an old container or it is not kept properly sealed, then I don't think its a problem. I was always told that little maggots and other bugs like to hang out in rice, oats, flouwer and other dry ingredients if not kept properly.
